What would the Advent and winter season be without a fairytale variety show at the Wintergarten?

Even in 2025, the festive premiere of ZIMT & ZAUBER at the Wintergarten Varieté marks the grand finale of the 36th Berlin Fairy Tale Days.

“Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?”
The new queen is a gluttonous witch who’s already licked her own house clean. All that’s left are a few gingerbread ruins and a bitter old magic mirror she salvaged from the curbside trash. Due to her nightly cravings, one button after another pops off, and the mirror seems to be spewing venom with every word.

One thing is quickly clear: her rival, Snow White, must be eliminated!
But that’s easier said than done. Deep behind the seven mountains, Snow White is growing fond of her seven dwarfs – each more different than the next. As the queen hunts for “true beauty,” chaos and mishaps unfold. But what if the mirror isn’t telling the truth?

A cheeky and heartwarming adaptation about “lying mirrors” and self-love – with unexpected visits from some very familiar fairy tale characters.
Told with humor, stunning acrobatics by the young artists of the CABUWAZI Springling children’s circus, and captivating melodies by Tim Schultheiss.
