An eminent visitor in the talk show “Kurtz on the couch”: On November 2nd, Vice President of the Bundestag Claudia Roth takes a seat next to host Andreas Kurtz. This promises to be both an interesting and amusing discussion, as the politician is not only one of the most influential figures in the Green Party and federal politics, but also has a past in show business: in the early eighties she was the manager of the political rock band “Ton Steine Scherben”.

As a politician, she is not one of those streamlined career types that are extremely flexible in her views and attitudes – on the contrary! Claudia Roth stands by her convictions, even if this brings her disadvantages and even threats. When she chairs the plenary sessions of the German Bundestag, she does so in a basically good-humored and correct manner.
