Udo Jürgens, one of the greatest entertainers and songwriters in the German-speaking world, would have turned 90 on September 30, 2024. In honor of his life’s work and his unforgettable music, Wintergarten Varieté invites you to celebrate the timeless hits and moving lyrics of this exceptional artist.

The show promises an unforgettable evening for fans, music lovers and all those who appreciate the unique magic of Udo Jürgens’ songs.

The evening offers a rousing performance of his greatest successes, interpreted by renowned artists and accompanied by the Harry Ermer Trio. The evening will be hosted by Marc Secara. From “Aber bitte mit Sahne” to “Mit 66 Jahren” and “Merci Chérie” – the songs will be brought back to life in all their variety and emotionality.

In addition to the musical performance, there will be personal insights into the life and work of Udo Jürgens, presented by guests who knew him personally or were touched by his work.

One focus will be Udo Jürgens’ early career as a jazz pianist – his musical roots, i.e. jazz, which can be heard again and again in his masterpieces.
